God has always put on my heart to work with babies but I never knew in what capacity until I became a nurse in 2017 and started in the postpartum unit. I had the honor of being the nurse to care for many babies after they were born. In this role, I would admire babies as they had their first breastfeeding session and watched it help them adjust to life better. I would be in awe as moms would bond with their babies through breastfeeding. I was inspired by how a successful first feeding session would translate to better confidence on day 2 or 3 of life. This sparked my interest in breastfeeding and my desire to focus on lactation care started there. Since then, I have spent my career learning how to support families on their infant feeding journey.

My goal is to support you in reaching your feeding goals and help you feel confident as you adjust to life with a new baby. As a Christian, I believe we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and through Golden Lactation, I aim to empower women on their feeding journey, all while furthering His kingdom.
