In the event that I am not in network with your plan, cash is acceptable and a superbill can be given to you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

At Golden Lactation, my goal is to limit roadblocks to providing lactation care to you! Therefore, I offer home visits, telehealth and office visits. Home visits are available to families within Lubbock, Slaton, Shallowater, Wolfforth and Idalou. For families outside this limit, telehealth and office visits are available.

Anyone that the mother wishes to be at the appointment with her is welcome! I find that having your support person there helps mom to remember the details of the appointment. Older siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles are always a joy to have around! My request with home visits - if you have a protective animal that doesn't enjoy visitors, I ask that you put them in a kennel or outside for my safety.

Most insurance plans offer unlimited lactation visits, however some limit it to 6 appointments. After verifying your insurance, I will inform you if you have any limitations on coverage. If you are paying with cash, there is no limitations on how many visits we have.

Of course!! I love prenatal breastfeeding appointments. Prenatal breastfeeding education is vital for breastfeeding success. We will spend our visits reviewing breastfeeding basics, answering any questions you have, and making a plan to breastfeed.
